On our Autumn walk, we aimed to investigate what effect the Autumn has on the plants and trees around us. We collected lots of different coloured leaves and seeds to use in class to produce Autumn collages. After returning back to school, the children investigated the leaves more by taking a closer look at their appearance.
We've been exploring how we are all unique individuals, with different names and different faces. Yet we are all part of God's huge family.
Children have painted their own portrait and decorated their own unique name. They've also made their own candle which shows that God's loves every one of us and knows us all by our own name. A big thank you must go out to all of you who have kindly brought in some tins of food. We've been celebrating our Harvest Festival Mass and offered all the food to those in desperate need of something to eat. THANK YOU! Take a look at the different activities the children in F1 have been exploring this half-term. They've been cutting, painting, drawing, practising how to write, making biscuits, investigating autumn leaves, planting bulbs for the spring and lots, lots more. |
We will say 'Hi' every so often and tell you what we've been doing!
